My sweet baby boy is two months old already! He is such a joy to have in our lives, and for sure an extremely laid back little guy. My favorite things about Cole are his smile, his cute little ears, the way he is always grunting and making baby noises, and the way his chin quivers- oh soo sweet. He weighs in at 13 lbs, which puts him right about where his big brothers measured up at this same age.
So far, he sleeps wayyyy better than either of the other two did. So for you moms whose babies "slept through the night" at 6 weeks and you decided you were doing it all right, sorry, I am a believer that the baby is the only one to credit. It could have something to do with my strong commitment to co-sleeping this time versus an opposite commitment to making Caden sleep in his crib. It could also have a lot to do with my improved breastfeeding skills that make nursing while laying down a premium middle of the night option. (yes, this is a legitimate way to nurse) And it could also have to do with the busy and loud household that we have during the day which makes naps only possible when Cole decides its time for one instead of an infant focused household where trying to get the baby to sleep is an objective during the day. And possibly, by this point getting up early with a baby or throughout the night is par for the course and not a huge ordeal, makes my attitude better. But, all of that said, Cole still sleeps a lot better just because that is his sweet little temperament. Collin says he is the perfect third child and a great baby to be our last...maybe he is making it so easy that we won't remember the challenges of a newborn :)

Awww! He's precious. I agree completely about the sleep thing. It's amazing what happens when you stop worrying about "when" they should be sleeping and start just going with the flow. Everyone chills out. And I love nursing laying down. Puts mama and baby back to sleep.
oh my goodness! i just want to kiss those sweet baby cheeks.
i thought he looked just like caden, but i see some caleb in there too... they are for sure all brothers!
and i didn't know there was anyway to nurse BUT laying down, haha. annie got to where she would only nurse when we were both laying down in bed for awhile there.
maybe my 3rd will be my pro sleeper???
Thanks guys, yes, love those third babies!! Kristen, here's hoping for your turn with a chill baby sleeper!
