Don't Be Sad...

Oh, and don't be sad for Caleb that he gets no attention from the girls...check the picture of him and Annie hanging out this weekend!

Perspective

And for perspective, here are the same two only a year and a half ago...

Friends Forever

I know at some point girls and boys eventually are bound to have their differences. I mean, at 2, Caden is into puddles and rocks and jumping and all our friends that are girls love baby dolls and things. BUT just for a moment you can sometimes get their worlds to collide in a wonderful adorable moment of friendship and it warms a my heart! Here is one of those moments with our friend Kayla--- I hope they still think each other is just as fun in 10 years~

What a Week!

Collin mentioned lovingly this afternoon that I had been driving around a lot this week (= gas is expensive and money doesn't grow on trees in "husband language")
I completely denied it and vouched the one day we stayed home all day as proof...
this week's blog isn't going to make my case very well...

At Shady Grove having lunch...Caden loves queso, can you tell?

Riding the Zilker Park train after lunch

Uncle Gray with his awesome girlfriend Jenna came to ride the train too!
I don't know who loves her more, Gray or Caden & Caleb...
Uncle Will and our cousin Caroline came too!

We also went to the Austin Zoo this week, Caden's favorite animal of all was the rooster, go figure. He didn't appreciate the peacocks, this is his "what is that thing and why is it making that noise face?"

No child should ever get to be that close to a lion, she looks like she wants to play! I guess they don't have a budget for trenches at the Austin zoo, yikes!

We just discovered this super fun fountain park outside Palmer Auditorium on Barton Springs. If you have kids and live in Austin I highly recommend this! It also happens to be across the street from Sno Beach sno cones!

Caden has no separation anxiety, I don't have any idea how far he would go without looking back...

Thanks Mommy for a fun week!
(and thanks Daddy for the gas money you worked so hard for while we played)
