Bible Study and Baseball Hats

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, do not be discouraged and do not be terrified for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go!" Joshua 9:1 That was our theme for the vacation Bible school at our church last week. I taught 4 groups of four and five year olds the story each day. Caden and Caleb were too little to participate but they still went to their own "classes" which they LOVED every day. It was a fun week! That is a picture of us in our tee shirts (well, they didn't have any for nine month olds, but Caden got one!)

Caleb is old enought to play with the Dino Roar now, he can even
pick up the balls and put them into the holes by himself. Smart baby boy!

Caleb fell asleep eating dinner last night, so I put him in his crib and he had a late nap...which meant he didn't go back to sleep until 10:30 after that. If the Tonight Show is on, you know its too late for your 9 month old to be up!

Caden and Daddy playing "tower" and sporting what appears to be a peace sign or some form of gang sign (I can't tell) while sporting Caden's new favorite style, a ball ball hat!

Whoop!

Things I Love...

- Caden's recent love of watching "ball ball" with Daddy
-Caleb has started crawling really fast and pulling up on everything, I love watching him stand up and look out our sliding glass door
-Caden "dancing" to the music channel, toes pointed, arms flapping, spinning in circles saying "fast"
-Caleb's obsession with Mommy, he cries when I leave the apartment and he crawls full speed to me in a room and pulls up holding onto my legs so I can't walk anywhere till I pick him up
-Cadensaying "da do momma"
-Caleb screaming at the TOP of his lungs (and also at the highest pitch frequency possible for the human ear to hear) for nothing else but to hear himself make noise
-Caden's latest favorite word = "self Mommy" which means I want to do ____ myself and just fill in everything from getting food to climbing in the car by himself
-Caleb watching and soaking up everything Caden does
-all 3 of us going on our favorite early morning jogs to the park near here and having a picnic breakfast of apples, cereal, and milk along with all of Caden's farm animals which we have to bring along of course...and rehearsing that we will go to said park during bedtime the night before including all the items that we will need to bring listed out by Caden even his reminding me to bring along "bubba" (Caleb)

blessed.

Beach and More

I forgot to put up pictures from our super fun visit to Dallas to see our cousin Adalyn, and Aunt Wyndi and Uncle Connor. These kids are so fun together!

I LOVE this baby's hair, its my favorite Caleb trademark. Also, he just got his first teeth (2 came in at once) Good job Caleb!

I've been having this craving to take the kids to the beach all summer and thanks to a mega drought Lake Travis turned into one just down the street from our apartment! Jessica, Kayla, and Levi gave us the invite since they go to this park, Windy Point a lot. Eight dollars and literally a 5 minute drive...beat that South Padre!

The boys and I did some house hunting "research" in Cedar Park this week...

But that got pretty boring so we had to check out the amenities...
