Train Ride Saturday

There is a really fun train to ride just down the street from us at the Williamson County Park...

So when we woke up a few Saturdays ago with nothing on our schedule, this is the first place we thought of!

Its nice and shady, plus only a couple dollars a person!

Four Months Old!

Look who's four months old!

I can't get the picture to show it best, but this little one is on his way to a sweet strawberry blonde!

He is an expert finger chewer...especially since he won't take pacis or bottles...

Traditional four month birthday cereal eating:

Cole seemed to be ok with eating the rice cereal the first time, but the next night he hated it.
We'll probably nurse exclusively for a little bit longer post photo shoot...

What to Do?

Visit new local parks and climb trees?

Pose for hundreds of pictures for Mommy...

Practice lifting feet in the air while simultaneously eating your own fingers.
(I know he is a genius already)

Accessories...

..that is what I am going to start calling Caleb's injuries
who needs a little girl with bows and dresses when you get to dress up your little boy
in toothless grins and casts :)

Of course, I think the bows and dresses could probably be a little more economical than
dental anesthia, xrays, and trips to the cast doctor
but who's counting?

Speaking of priceless, I cannot express the enjoyment of watching Grammy hold Caleb in her lap while he got his cast on. Do not be deceived, the ipad they are looking at may seem to hold the key to the tearless incident, but I promise you not just anyone could have pulled that off...

We love Grammy!

For Uncle Gray...

My brother Gray recently took a gardening class as an elective at Texas A&M.
Note: Gardening electives at "agricultural universities" are kind of serious
Anyway, he made me a copy of his cool textbook so here are pictures of my garden so far...

Young squash with flowers

Tomatoes

Pole Beans

Watermelons Plants

Not that Uncle Gray frequents blogs or anything, but maybe Aunt Jenna will show him our garden!
