Moving...
Collin wrote that post about D P just in case...I've asked him to continue his creative posts on his own blog, Chronicles of a Fat Man...that way they won't be lost in my entries and they will have their own "special" place just for him...I decided this when he let me know that he wanted to include the word bathroom in every post he wrote...lets call it my deciding factor...love you Collin, its not you, its me...
I miss Dr. Pepper :(
Dr. Pepper and I had a long term relationship. We used to keep each other company on hot summer days, used to go to the pool together, played sports together, and even sometimes went to the bathroom together. She was never judgmental and always knew how to quench my thirst.
Recently I heard she was trying to get back in touch with me. Sometimes I think I see her at work or when I go to a restaurant. And to be honest, sometimes I wish she was still there.
I am better now without her, but it is always hard to get over a close friend who is gone but still there.
This one is for you Dr. Pepper, I miss your 23 flavors.

Retraction
I would like to retract the previous post from Collin for being too detailed and expletive, but I'm so proud of him that I am going to leave it up. He really has worked incredibly hard and it is totally paying off. He looks pretty good if you ask me, but I'm partial, I married him for his looks! :)
I, on the other hand, have cheated a few times....I'd like to confess publicly that last week I went to the store at night to drop off some videos while Collin watched the kids and I bought and ate an entire bag of peanut M&Ms on the way home. Also, today I ate an ice cream drumstick that I'd been saving in our freezer from a Cares event. Whew, I feel better. Fortunately, I've still lost a few pounds on this healthy eating/work out plan. Thank goodness for the extra 300 calories I burn breastfeeding or I'd be caught in the act!

El Gordo Hombre is losing weight!!!!!
So here it is. Three weeks ago I got fed up of looking at my fat rolls in the bathroom while I sat on the pot.
Too descriptive? Suck it up.
I said to myself, like I have a million times before (Jennifer will attest to this), it is time to do something about this. This time though something different happened. I am not sure what but something clicked. Maybe it was the highschool girls in the car next to me laughing while I ate a brownie in my car stopped at a red light.
I have been doing cardio and weights 4 to 5 times a week for the past three weeks and have dropped 10 pounds while eating a healthy, consistent diet. Only one Dr. Pepper a week, almost all deserts cut out (1 or 2 a week and then I usually get grossed out soon after I eat them and want to stick my finger down my throat), and drinking water constantly at my desk at work.
I am about to hit my first goal weight of 200 lbs, probably within the next two weeks, hopefully no plateau effect. Next goal will be 190.
No more fat Collin, this is my year.
