Forward Our Mail

You might as well just forward our mail to the neighborhood pool, because after our first trip of the summer there today
I'm not sure we'll be at the house that much longer!
There is just something so "American summer" about a neighborhood pool, kids splashing, and lifeguards sitting above with whistles at the ready...
...I could almost hear the theme song of The Wonder Years playing in the background...sigh

Earlier that morning Caden started his first swim lessons. He is fully capable of swimming at this point, he just needs the influence of a sweet young teacher instead of mom who already doesn't know anything.
Today they worked on blowing bubbles, and kicking, swimming from the step and back holding her hands.
Caden let go of her and swam all the way back by himself on the first try. Yea!
